CLIMATE CHANGE

CLIMATE CHANGE

Our planet is warming. The average temperature of the Earth has increased by 1.4 ° C over the past century, and another 2-11.5 ° C is expected to rise over the next hundred years. Small changes in the average temperature of the planet can lead to large and potentially dangerous changes in climate and weather.

The evidence is clear.

The rise in global temperatures has been followed by changes in the weather and many places have suffered changes in rainfall, resulting in more floods, droughts or heavy rains, as well as more frequent and severe heat waves.
Oceans and glaciers on the planet have also undergone great changes - the oceans are warming and becoming more acidic, snows are melting, and sea levels are rising.

As these and other changes will become increasingly pronounced in the coming decades, they are likely to present challenges for our society and our environment.

We can make a difference

We can all take action at home, on the way to work, and in the office to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and the risks associated with climate change.
Many of these steps can save money. Some, like walking or cycling to work, can even improve your health !!!
Let's be aware and you can also participate to support energy efficiency from a smaller scale to a greater extent such as in construction
